Vis-a-Vis shoot

May 30, 2008

Here are my uber late behind-the-scenes pictures from the photoshoot, as promised! My sister and I had so much fun doing the shoot and this felt waaaay more relaxed than any shoot I’ve done before. Just the 3 of us, with the occasional peeks from Sid and Kelvin.

Hahaha, I wasn’t really yawning here. But prior to this picture, I was really yawning while my picture was being taken.

Nothing to do while waiting for the couch to be moved, hee.

I love this chirpy outfit! Looks damn cute.

Wow, look so fiiiierce.

Woooo, greek goddess.

Hurhur, flappy pants.

I’ve got fat thighs.

Well that is all for tonight! I’m off to settle some appeal stuff now. Enjoy your weekend :)

Baaack!

May 28, 2008

I have lots of photos that I owe! Tsk, will do them when I start to stop procrastinating. Heeeez.

Am at home today cos I’m having the worst time of the month and Yao is busy sucking up to his bosses during his internship to call me and sayang me like a little child. What does a girl have to do these days to get the attention that she’s worthy of?!

Yesterday was a good day; work was good, after work activities even better. Finally managed to spend some quality time with Yao after being back from Bangkok. And the best time of our date is usually watching TV while Yao falls asleep in my arms. Although his head is a little heavy, I would trade anything in the world for his heavy head on my arms. Much love to my hot, hunky and handsome boiflen!

Dinner with Yao on Tuesday where a certain someone lost something while going back to hall… Well done, baby. Nevertheless, some kind soul returned his lost item so all’s good now!
Sorry for the fuzzy picture but this picture is damn cute! Yao was saying that he looked damn big, compared to the tiny indian dude beside him. I totally agree…

Thursday saw Yong Jian and I at the SPH Red Apple Day blood donation drive. He was damn noob cos he is afraid of needles! With quite little persuasion, we managed to sneak out of office to donate blood for 2 whole hours. We came back with lots of food, courtesy to YJ’s bright idea to keep his stash in the hoodie I brought down.

Hahaha! YJ looks damn funny here.

For those who hasn’t tried blood donation, I urge you to! It’s painless (almost) and quick. The best part? You help to save lives! So go and donate your blood, it’s a precious gift to others who need it.

Friday… was fun! I was seriously busy at work and posed for some Durex Giveaway promo at work. Hahaha, I don’t know why of all people they picked me. I mean, they didn’t even shoot my face! Any female colleague would be fine!!!

After work, I met Ama and Sam for old times’ sake for some friggin expensive dinner along Haji Lane. I’m NEVER going back there again. Also, I tried my first time at the shisyah thingamagik. I know, quite slow but there’s always a first! It is like breathing air with peachy mint flavour. Not a big deal lah actually. So you kids out there think Shisyah is very cool, don’t waste your $14 unless you want to choke when you smoke cigarettes :)

Sam trying to act cool while blowing the air out. Nyehhhh

Sam really excited while Ama fixes the ’straw’

Ama’s my pillowzzzz.

Ama: ‘Wah, future Creative Director…’

Saturday was fun fun fun! Did a photoshoot for my sister’s label in Collage, Vis-a-Vis. I do have photos from the shoot but the camera’s with my sister. So, I’ll upload it some other time. We did a photoshoot of 17 clothes change in about 3-4 hours. My fastest photoshoot by far! Hehehehehe.

Met Yao after my shoot and slept at his house cos I was friggin tired. I woke up at 7.30am for the shoot! And again, we went to Geylang for dinner cos someone was craving for Dim Sum. Eckkkk…

Had durians again! Hehehehe I was craving it some time this week but today, I just wasn’t feeling it. But Yao still made me eat em anyways.

Annoyed Yao because I was taking his HEN-SUM photo. Umm…

That’s all for this fun week! :) Have a good Vesak Day on Monday and I’LL BE LEAVING FOR THAILAND ON FRIDAY!!! Ama, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do something about your air ticket. It won’t be half as fun if you weren’t there to shop with meeeee.

Have a good week ahead, y’all!

TGIW!

May 14, 2008

Not really TGIW, but I’d give anything to be having a Wednesday than a Monday. Because Thursday is tomorrow, and Friday is right around the corner… and tadah, Saturday is here!

Speaking of which, I can’t wait for Saturday! Apart from the fact that I’ll be spending the day with Yao, I’ll be doing a photoshoot for my sister! She sort of has her own label in Collage called Vis-A-Vis. Hopefully, the shoot will go well and end by afternoon.

Work today was… as usual, blaaah. Oh on Monday, Adrian and I went to Suntec City for a media luncheon with The Food Travel experts. Basically, there was this talk while we were eating. Initially, I didn’t catch much cos the presentation of the food was amazing! I didn’t feel like eating it cos I didn’t want to ruin the pretty presentation, but until I saw the ang moh journalist just squashed her scallop+funny fish meat+caviar with the back of her spoon, I did the same right away. The juice oozing out, yum yum! The high class chicken chop was yummy too! I loooove the mashed potato with asparagus. Yummerz.

I’m off to Viwawa now! Have a great night y’all.

Saturday once again!

May 10, 2008

Yesterday was Marie Digby’s showcase and it was… alright, I guess. Not too exciting for me considering the really really packed Velvet Underground last night. Stayed for about half an hour to listen to her cover of Umbrella and some of her original songs. We got a little bored so we left a lil early for dinner.

Very pathetic picture of Marie Digby from where I was standing, but she is really gorgeous!

As usual, my Saturdays are quite fun and enjoyable. Courtesy to Mr Shuy Yao Hwee, my lovely boyfriend. We spent about half the day at home watching TV and some shows on his computer before heading to town in search of a Mother’s Day present for my mummy!

Back to old school bus rides, baby!

My favourite picture!

Initially, I wanted to get her a pair of Havaianas but my sister said it wasn’t a good idea. So, I got her a ring instead. Hopefully, she’ll like it.

Met up with Fazirah to accompany her to a friend’s birthday party, which wasn’t very exciting I must say. The dress code was ‘formal, cream, pink or grey.’ I showed up as a walking eggplant, not very sexy but enough to stick out like a stupid sore thumb. When we got there, IT WAS NOTHING FORMAL. I mean, sure the decorations were sweet and pink but the people?! They were in jeans. Hello, does denim speak FORMALITY at all?! I feel so mean, but it’s true!

Fazirah and I, in quite complementing outfits. She decided that I looked like an Egyptian.

I think the gate is very preeeettttttyyy!

Met up with Yao after the booooring party for some XO Bee Hoon dinner, and to set the record straight, Yao, NO MORE XO BEE HOON FOR YOU ANYMORE. Thank goodness you weren’t driving today. I still think that our joke about the XO Bee Hoon, breath analyzer test and ending up in prison is quite funny!

Anyways, I’m getting quite tired… Shall go get some beauty sleep. Go kart tomorrow!

Drum Mania!

May 8, 2008

Well, at least that’s what I remembered that it’s called.

Yao and I visited the arcade at Bugis today, and he surprised me with his hella good drummin’ skills! I look like a noob next to him. I was playing Guitar Freak, and I suck big time. He played Drum Mania and he’s DAMN pro. I never knew Yao was so good at Drum Mania; his looks deceive me way too much.

(See, I know how to do rounded corners for pictures! Am I pro or what??? Hehehe)

After he won like, a lot of rounds (annoying.), he couldn’t stop bragging while walking to NAFA for Ama’s graduation showcase.

Speaking of which, everyone’s exhibits are so arty farty! And not to mention, everyone looked so arty farty. I felt under-dressed :(

Oh oh, now it’s my turn to brag. My boss is damn nice to me today! He gave tickets to Marie Digby’s show tomorrow and I can’t wait!

Hehehe, I know. I’m DAMN hao lian. Wooooo! You suckers, I get to see prett girl tomorrow!!! :P

At long last!

May 3, 2008

Hello all! Hopefully, this will be a permanent shift from my livejournal. Somehow, I can’t seem to keep my “shifts” permanent because I have an issue of letting go of the old. Ok, not exactly true in every aspect of my life but true enough for me in the department of blogs.

And you may be wondering about the move. Firstly, I hate the way I post my entries (they sound rather… immature and typed without much thought). Secondly, I have unfamiliar people adding me on livejournal so here’s a proper journal to be haolian about my very boring life.

Anyways, back to business.

Have I ever told you that I love Saturdays? If not, here’s me telling you again:

I LOVE SATURDAYS!!!

Because saturdays = spending time with Yao like nobody’s business. Except that it became my dad’s business after he found out that I was with “a friend”. I shan’t elaborate on that, way too personal.

I woke up at 9.45 am, a big accomplishment for me, considering that I always wake up at 12 noon on weekends. Yao said he wanted to have prata breakfast, and in the end, we had lunch at Killiney Kopitiam. Nice.

So, as usual, we spent the entire day lazing around at home, watching “My Name is Earl”, bits of “Gossip Girl” and tons of Bunifa Latifah Halifah Sharifah Jackson because the weather was too darn hot for any sane human being to step out of the house.

We decided to take a trip to Geylang for some kickass dinner and durian.

I’ve never seen a prostitute before and today, I saw MILLIONS of them. Ok, not millions per se, but enough to deter me from walking down a lane alone, especially the one at Geylang. Because, not only was the lane filled with prostitutes, there were tons of lonely and horny men, including Yao. Scared the living shit outta me!

We abandoned that creepy place for some beek kway teow and crispy egg noodles, which was not too bad. I like the crispy egg noodle! Yummy shizz. And we had durians after that, which we both regretted because we were too full to finish 3 durians by ourselves! Poor Yao had a bad tummy after the durians.

Oh, and during the stuffing down of durians down our throats, I whipped out my old-new phone to snap a picture of Yao’s eyes cos I think they are damn cute and pretty.

Purely single eyelid! And he looks like an Alaskan Malamute. Hehehehe.

I’m tired! Yawns, shall go sleep now!

Hehehehehe, Retards!
