Birthday Blast!

Ahh, so sorry I don’t have pictures of my last birthday as a teen cos they are all with Xin Yi, Joanne and Sze Ee. When I do get them, I promise to upload k?

My birthday was a 3 day affair, at least that was what it felt like to me. When I went back to SPH for lunch with my beloved dearies, I got a surprise cake! So sweet! They somehow managed to squeeze 19 candles on a small chocolate spongecake. My first birthday cake, happiness! Thanks for the delicious chocolatey and budget birthday surprise, people!

Sunday night I came back to hall and Xin Yi said she wanted to stay over and so she did. I thought it was gonna be a nice night for sleep, so I can wake up happy cos it’s my birthday! Then at midnight, the first person to wish me a happy birthday was… MY BABY! It was rather unexpected from Yao, cos I thought he wouldn’t bother. But it was so sweet to know that he actually called to wish me a happy birthday! Anyways, Xin Yi and I went to shower right and that stupid girl said she forgot to take her towel. I passed her my keys and she went back. Then, as I was in the toilet, I wanted to send a quick message to Yao so I decided to walk back to my room, but when I walked back, my door was locked. And the toilet was empty. So Xin Yi was nowhere to be found! I was like “hmm, this is really weird.” And then, I saw Sze Ee, Joanne and Xin Yi walking up the stairs with my birthday cake! Haha, lousy la Xin Yi.

I blew out my candles outside the female toilet, my second birthday cake! And then after my shower, as I was almost going to snoozeland, Linguine turned up at my doorstep and “SURPRISE!!!!” Haha, so sweet of them! I got an uber huge birthday cake and they made me take the candles out with my mouth. While doing so, they tried to push my head into the cake lah. Tskkkk. They didn’t manage to do so but Sufi did manage to smack my birthday cake from the girls on my face. Gross, and this was just RIGHT after I showered. So, thanks Sufi. After much awkwardness in my damn hot room, everyone left. THANKS LINGUINE FOR THE SWEET SWEET SURPRISE!

On the actual day of my birthday, I met Yao at his place and we stayed at home. Hahaha, I woke up to a yummylicious dinner cooked by my love. Should have taken a picture of his piece of art, tsk. He cooked me Bolognese Spaghetti, made me one biiiiig and full happy girl We wanted to go prawning with my new prawning rod (Yao’s birthday present to me ), but it was raining so we stayed home to watch Infernal Affairs. Although it wasn’t a very happening celebration with the boyfriend, it was the best ever! Cuddles cuddles.

On Tuesday, I had a nice birthday cake surprise from Delphi! MY FAVOURITE CAKE OF ALL! Tiramisu! Shao Wei, you’ve got girly taste. The cake was quite good, considering that it was bought from the Quad. Hehehehe. Had my little and short birthday celebration in hall lounge, before rushing off to meet my girls for a good KTV session!

Our KTV session was damn fun lah! Sing for 3.5 hours at Taman Jurong Shopping Center. Wah lau, God knows where that is lah. It is super ulu and difficult to get a cab late at night. Nevertheless, we sang till our hearts’ content, DAMN HAPPY! Hehe. Especially Xin Yi’s singing. Damn cute. Love you girls LONG TIME. More birthday celebrations coming ups, k?

School’s here!

So so sorry for the lack of updates as of lately, cos I’ve been busy busy with school. School has started for about 2 weeks now, and I’m settling in just fine. Made a whole lot of friends during CS camp and hall camp, so I’m not a lonely soul in school! Hee. Oh and I moved into hall, but I’m getting homesick. Miss my folks and the doggies a whole lot when I’m not home But it’s okay, I get to see Yao more often. He makes me less homesick!

My timetable’s awesome; I got a 4-day week timetable! But the thing is, my electives are terrible and disgusting. Ok, French isn’t that bad but “Singapore Society in Transition”??? That was my desperate attempt to fulfill my AUs, but I just saw another elective, Marketing. I hope I’ll be the first tomorrow morning to grab that slot!

I hope everyone is coping well with school. Study hard and play hard!
