Chichipatio, owned by my sister, is having a mega clearance sale up to 60%! I know some are quite skeptical on super duper cheap deals online, cos when the clothes are really cheap, the clothes are usually… well, not suitable (to be PC.) But do hop on down to chichipatio cos the clothes on sale are quite pretty!

Here are a few of my favourites from the sale:

All of them are going for less than $20! Go go go!!!

IMG_3759On a very random note, should I waste money at Videoezy for the next few days? I have a feeling I’ll be all alone at home, so might as well rent a couple of drama mama DVDs to share the afternoon with me. RENT RUSH HOUR 1, 2 AND 3!!! :D

Pink rampage

And apart from my pink overload obsession, I have a serious craving for Beard Papa now even though I had one in the afternoon. YUM and JCo donuts too.

Hmmmmm… hungry.

I had waaaay too much good food this weekend, oh dear! It all started with my trip to Ikea with Hazel on Friday afternoon. What can one NOT miss out when they are in Ikea (if they can eat beef that is) ???

MEATBALLS OF COURSE!

We had meatballs and baked chicken leg for lunch. Yummy! Good food and good recovery from all the Vietnam food, yippee!

And for dinner, I had this supercalifragilisticexpialidocious Japanese dinner at Clarke Quay. IT IS SO AWESOME!!!!!!! I will so go back there and pamper myself with the fantastical bloody good food when I am depressed. I am really not kidding when I say the food is out of this world. The garlic rice, the SAUSAGE, the cod fish… YUM YUM! And of course, I had wonderful company for dinner. Thanks B for the SUPER ho jiak dinner!!! :*

Today for lunch, I had superb Chicken Rice at Serangoon (no prizes for guessing who brought me there… B!) I loooooove the rice, it was really tasty! I don’t mind travelling to Serangoon for chicken rice, heeeee.

Dinner: GANGSTA BAK KUT TEH AT HAVELOCK!!!! I have been seriously craving for that since Vietnam. I could even smell BKT when I was in Vietnam. They said I was hallucinating but I swear I smelled BKT while shooting!!!

My weekend was filled with shitass (pardon my French) good food. HOW NOT TO GROW FAT LIKE THAT? But it’s ok cos it’s all in the name of good fooood. Much love to B for the WONDERFUL WONDERFUL weekend and food :)

Good morning, Vietnam!

June 12, 2009

This is my 2nd week into my work trip at Hoi An, Vietnam! It has been generally smooth sailing, with each day ending nicely with a cuddle in my crisp linen bed! Shhhiiiiok. Took tons of pictures in my camera, but I didn’t bring the cable to upload it so will upload it when I get back to Singapore.

Weather here is insane! We are talking about 39 degrees celsius here, people. Really really really really hot. People here are quite nice and friendly, never failing to offer a helping hand whenever it is needed. Hoi An is quite a quaint little town in Vietnam, so there isn’t much activity or entertainment here other than the sea and beach. It’s about 15 minutes drive to Danang, which is the nearest city to Hoi An. I didn’t get much time to walk around the city, hope to have another chance to explore the place again!

I have no complaints about Hoi An, other than the fact that it is too hot for work! I mean it’s alright if you want to just get a nice tan but not for work. I can’t imagine what it’s like for the Vietnamese who have to endure the hot sun every day, yikes! This trip really reminds me a lot of Bintan, minus the music, the chillaxation, the beers and of course… THE BUDDIES!

Speaking of buddies, I miss them. And of course, my folks! And the little ones at home :( I’ll be back soon!
